On April 10, the Party Committee - Border Guard Command of Hue City held a conference to hand over the position of Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the City Border Guard.
Implementing the Decision No. 68 of March 25, 2025 of the Minister of Defense, Colonel Pham Tung Lam - former Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Hue City Border Guard, was assigned to hold the position of Political Commissar of Son La Province.
Colonel Ca Van Lap - former Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Border Guard of Son La province - received a new assignment, holding the position of Political Commissar of the Border Guard of Hue city.
At the conference, Colonel Pham Tung Lam handed over the Political Commissar position to Colonel Ca Van Lap. At the same time, the position of Party Committee Secretary was temporarily handed over to Colonel Hoang Minh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the Border Guard of Hue City.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Van Thien - Member of the Party Committee - Deputy Commander of the Border Guard acknowledged and commended the outstanding contributions of Colonel Pham Tung Lam during his work, especially in his position as Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Hue City Border Guard. Major General Nguyen Van Thien emphasized that in the new environment, Colonel Lam needs to continue to promote experience, a sense of responsibility, and complete assigned tasks well.
