Continuing to carry out the peak of attacking and suppressing crimes, especially drug crimes, Khuong Thuong Ward Police (Dong Da District) arrested a subject for illegal drug trafficking.
According to information from Hanoi City Police, at around 5:00 p.m. on April 15, 2025, during a patrol and control of the area, the Khuong Thuong Ward Police discovered and caught red-handed a subject illegally buying and selling drugs.
Specifically, in the area in front of house number 71C, lane 236 Dai Tu, Dai Kim ward, Hoang Mai district, the working group caught Hoang Thu Thanh (born on May 5, 1985; permanent residence in residential group 5, Trung Van ward, Nam Tu Liem district; currently residing in room 605, number 71C, lane 236 Dai Tu, Dai Kim ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi) while illegally buying and selling drugs.
The evidence seized at the scene included: 6.198 grams of synthetic drugs, 1 black electronic scale, 2 mobile phones, 1 glass cup and 60 plastic bags of various types used to divide and package drugs.
Khuong Thuong Ward Police have prepared a file and completed the procedures to hand over the subject and the evidence to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department - Hanoi City Police for further investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
