Arresting a group of subjects stealing pumps in the fields in Gia Lai

Gia Lai - A group of thieves took advantage of bad weather and wind to enter the fields and break into people's houses to steal property.

On September 24, Ia Bang Commune Police filed a case to handle 3 subjects for the act of stealing property.

At around 8:00 a.m. on August 15, Mr. Phan Thanh Duong (born in 1990, residing in village 6, Ia Bang commune, Gia Lai province) discovered a thief stealing a TD water pump, 6Hp capacity and 28 meters of three-phase power lines at a coffee plantation in O Dat village.

The total damage was about 6.48 million VND. Immediately after receiving the report, Ia Bang Commune Police promptly took action, recovered assets and clarified 3 perpetrators including: Siu Pik (born in 2009), Joiih (born in 2010, all residing in O Ngo village) and Tuan (born in 2007, residing in O Yo village).

Notably, this group also committed 2 other water pump thefts in the commune. According to the police, recently, the situation of property theft in Ia Bang commune has become complicated.

The subjects often take advantage of dark nights, rainy weather or loopholes in asset management to break into, break in, and take away many valuable assets.

Ia Bang Commune Police recommends that people need to reinforce their houses and fields; not store many valuable assets; equip safety locks, surveillance cameras, and alarm bells.
