According to the police, at around 5:00 p.m. on July 31, Yen Son Ward Police received information at Mai Ngoc Luan's family (born in 1998, residing in Yen Son Ward) that a number of subjects had gathered, showing signs of suspected illegal use of drugs.
Upon receiving the report, Yen Son Ward Police sent a working group to quickly and synchronously deploy professional measures to conduct inspections and verification.
At the time of the inspection, the police discovered and arrested 6 subjects illegally using drugs, including Mai Ngoc Luan (homeowner), Bui Van Hung (born in 1996), Hoang Thanh Tho (born in 1995), Phan Minh Dien (born in 2002), Pham Huy Soan (born in 1993) and Bui Van Linh (born in 1988), all residing in Ngoc Trao commune, Thanh Hoa province.
The authorities seized many related evidences and nearly 5.5 million VND.
Through initial investigation, the subjects confessed to their violations; conducted a quick test of 6/6 subjects, all of whom tested positive for drugs.
The case is currently being further investigated and expanded by the police.
