The identities of the two subjects who were temporarily detained are Pham Quoc Cuong (born in 2000, residing in Tien Phong village, Huong Do commune, Ha Tinh province) and Tran Anh Tuan (born in 1994, residing in village 5, Phuc Trach commune, Ha Tinh province).
Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on October 10, the Huong Khe Commune Police Working Group inspected the accommodation of boarding houses in the area. When checking Ms. TTL's boarding house in Huong Giap village, Huong Khe commune, Cuong and Tuan were renting a room at room 8.
Through reconnaissance work, the working group identified Cuong and Tuan as drug users with many suspicious signs. Through professional measures, Cuong and Tuan were determined to be drug-positive.
Here, the authorities discovered and seized 94 round, pink tablets (suspected to be pink methamphetamine).

While working at the police station, the subjects confessed that the 94 tablets discovered and seized were pink pills. Cuong and Tuan hid these drugs for personal use and resold them to other subjects for profit.
During the investigation expansion, the Police Agency determined that on October 10, Cuong and Tuan sold pink pills to employees residing in Huong Khe commune and XQ residing in Huong Pho commune.
On October 15, the Criminal Techniques Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police concluded that the 94 pink tablets discovered and seized were Methamphetamine, weighing 9.63 grams.
