On April 19, To Chau Ward Police (Ha Tien City, Kien Giang) said that they had recently coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Kien Giang Provincial Police to catch B.T.N (born in 1991, residing in Ha Tien City) red-handed for illegally storing drugs.
Previously, in Quarter 4, To Chau Ward, Ha Tien City, the Ward Police Patrol Team coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police while performing patrol and control duties to discover suspect B.T.N.
The patrol team asked to stop the vehicle for inspection, but subject N immediately threw a bag containing a white solid crystalline substance suspected to be drugs at his feet. During the inspection, the police discovered that the subject had 5 more bags containing similar crystals on him.
Through initial statements, B.T.N admitted that the white solid crystalline bags were synthetic drugs purchased from a person (unknown background) for use, but before he could use them, he was discovered and arrested by the police.
To Chau Ward Police have filed a case and transferred the case to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department for further investigation and handling according to their authority.
