Hanoi - The Traffic Police force (CSGT) is focusing on deploying prevention work, ready to respond to storm No. 9 Ragasa.

In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. Ragasa, the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police has proactively deployed the plan, mobilized forces and vehicles, and closely coordinated with relevant units to ensure traffic safety and order, urban order and safety for the people.

Accordingly, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department has directed local teams to deploy storm prevention and control plans according to the "4 on-site" motto: on-site command, on-site forces, on-site vehicles, on-site logistics; increase patrols and controls, especially in key areas, main traffic routes, areas at risk of flooding, fallen trees, temporary houses, etc.

The plans are raised to the highest level, anticipating bad scenarios to ensure the safety of people's lives, limit property damage, and avoid being passive or surprised.

On the afternoon of September 24, on road traffic routes, patrol forces coordinated with local police and authorities to inspect, propagate, and instruct people to tie up houses, remove umbrellas, signs, and items at risk of being swept away by the wind; support the clearance of water flows, ensure drainage, proactively separate flows, and warn to ensure safety for people and vehicles.

The Waterway Police force arranged working groups to inspect passenger wharves, floating houses, and vehicles anchored on the Red River.

In areas where many households exploit aquatic products such as Bat Trang commune, Vinh Thanh commune, Hong Ha ward, officers and soldiers directly propagated and supported safe anchorage, requesting that vehicles not stay on the vehicle when the storm made landfall.

The strongest wind near the storm center is level 13 (134-149 km/h), gusting to level 16. The storm is moving west-northwest at a speed of about 20 km/h.
