On March 13, Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Seaport (TCIT) recorded an output of 20 million TEUs after more than 14 years of operation.
This event marked an important milestone when successfully receiving the Korea Korea Korea ship one frugally, part of the MS2 service route, connecting Vietnam with the United States.
Since the first mother ship docked on January 15, 2011, TCIT has continuously developed, becoming one of the leading deep-water ports in Vietnam in general and in Cai Mep - Thi Vai in particular.

To date, TCIT has received nearly 5,500 mother ships and operated 8 to 12 international service routes per week; and is the second largest throughput unit in the country, after Tan Cang - Cat Lai.
With an impressive unloading speed, an average of 160 containers/hour/ship and a record of up to 238.08 containers/hour/ship, TCIT has optimized time and costs for shipping lines and businesses.
In the context of the global supply chain still facing many fluctuations, TCIT continues to affirm its important role in maintaining stability and smoothness of logistics operations, while contributing to improving Vietnam's competitiveness on the international trade map.
