On March 6, in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province, the Command (BTL) of Coast Guard Region 4 held a conference to review experience in preparing and organizing a launching ceremony for training and practicing combat readiness (SSCD) at the beginning of the first training phase in 2025.
The conference aims to comprehensively and fully re-evaluate the stages and steps in organizing the 2025 Training launch Ceremony and practicing the conversion of SSCD status at the beginning of the first training phase in 2025. Point out the advantages, limitations and problems, thereby identifying specific and practical measures to direct agencies and units to continue to seriously and effectively implement, improving the training quality of the entire Regional Command to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.

Speaking at the Conference, Major General Tran Van Luong, Commander of the Region, praised the efforts of the officers and soldiers in the whole Region who have done a good job of organizing the launching ceremony for training and practicing the transfer of the status of SSCD. The Region Commander requested agencies and units to continue researching and supplementing the remaining limitations and shortcomings pointed out at the Conference, especially urgently organizing training for soldiers to grasp the limitations through practical training and practice.
Previously, from March 4 to 6, the Command of the Region organized a training course to change the SSCD state at the beginning of the first training phase in 2025, focusing on the content of mobilizing forces and organizing combat preparation on the field, ensuring absolute safety, achieving the goals, requirements, and training intentions.
Major General Tran Van Luong emphasized: Timely drawing experience from each training task is an important premise and basis for the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 to set increasingly higher requirements for each agency, unit as well as each officer and soldier in training; deploy serious and strict training, constantly improve the overall quality and combat strength of the unit, contributing to maintaining sovereignty, security, safety of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
