In April 2025, the city's IIP is estimated to increase by 10.47% over the same period. In the first 4 months of 2025, IIP is estimated to increase by 8.75% over the same period last year. Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 10.17%; electricity production and distribution increased by 2.23%; water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment activities decreased by 1.08% over the same period.
Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in April 2025 is estimated at VND 12,964.18 billion, up 19.44% over the same period. Accumulated in the first 4 months of 2025, it is estimated to reach VND 48,833.32 billion, up 16.08% over the same period, reaching 33.68% of the plan assigned by the City People's Committee at the beginning of the year (economic growth of 9.5% or more), reaching 32.56% of plan No. 45/KH-UBND (economic growth of 10.5-11%).
Export turnover of goods and foreign currency revenue in April 2025 is estimated at 216.4 million USD, up 6.86% over the same period; import turnover of goods is estimated at 48.7 million USD, up 7.5% over the same period.
In 4 months of 2025, the export turnover of goods and foreign currency revenue reached US $ 850 million, up 12.3% over the same period in 2024, reaching 36.96% of the City People's Committee's plan at the beginning of the year (economic growth of 9.5% or more), reaching 33.73% of the plan No. 45/KH-UBND (economic growth of 10.5-11%). The import turnover of goods was estimated at 191.2 million USD, up 8.18% over the same period in 2024, reaching 34.1% of the plan of the City People's Committee delivered at the beginning of the year (economic growth of 9.5% or more).
In April 2025, the total number of visitors and tourists to the city reached 789,000 times, bringing the total number of visitors and tourists in the first 4 months of 2025 to 2,476,000, an increase of 5% over the same period, reaching 37.5% of the year plan. Tourists staying in April 4, 2025 is estimated at 349,000, bringing the total number of tourists staying in the first 4 months to 1,176,000, an increase of 8% over the same period, reaching 34.6% of the year plan.
Total revenue from tourism in April 2025 was estimated at VND 760 billion, bringing the total tourism revenue in the first 4 months to 2,452 billion VND, an increase of 8% over the same period, reaching 37.72% of the City People's Committee's plan at the beginning of the year (economic growth of 9.5% or more), reaching 35.03% of Plan No. 45/KH-UBND (Economic growth of 10.5-11%).
