The Department of Agriculture and Environment advised on the development of a plan for the Provincial Steering Committee to supplement, adjust, and assign tasks in the spirit of 6 clearly: clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibilities, clear products, clear authority; increase the responsibility of the head.

Strengthen propaganda work, diversify forms through newspapers, social networking sites, forces, etc., especially violations and handling levels of violations, regulations on combating IUU fishing at fishing ports, fishing ports, and wharves to raise awareness of fishermen, ship owners and captains, and prevent IUU fishing violations.

Continue to do a good job of managing fishing vessels such as: registering fishing vessels, granting exploitation licenses, recording logs, monitoring, and monitoring of voyage monitoring devices (VMS). further promote the application of science and technology. The installement rate of Voiture monitoring devices (VMS) reached 99.53%. Through monitoring, the number of ships crossing the sea boundary decreased by 66%, ships without VMS connection decreased by 88% over the same period. Support 4 rounds for 30,660 fishing vessels with a total amount of more than 5.3 billion VND according to Resolution No. 24/2022/NQ-HDND.

10,026 (100%) of registered fishing vessels in the province have their citizen identification data updated to the national fishing vessel database (VNFISHBASE) to synchronize with the national population data (VNeID).

Conduct control and supervision of the unloading of 100% of fishing vessels arriving at 2 designated fishing ports in the province; compile and supervise the unloading of goods through fishing ports inside and outside the province with a total output of 28,572 tons. Issued 2,662/3,619 accounts of fishing vessels from 15m or more (accounting for 74%) using the eCDT seafood traceability system; 100% of records of issuance of receipts for loading and unloading through ports, certificates of origin of exploited aquatic materials, and certificates of origin of exploited aquatic products issued through the eCDT seafood traceability system.
