Can Tho City People's Committee has just issued a Decision on the establishment of the City's National Defense and Security Education Council (QPAN), chaired by Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen.
The Chairman of the Council issued the Council's operating regulations; prescribed the functions and tasks of the Standing Committee, the Secretariat and the Standing Agency.
The Council has the function and task of advising the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee, and the Chairman of the City People's Committee to implement the task of QPAN Education in the area; Develop a plan on QPAN Education to submit to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for approval and organize implementation according to authority.
At the same time, decide to summon subjects who are delegates of the People's Council at the commune level; leaders and managers at the department level and equivalent of state agencies, organizations, and socio-political organizations of the city and the Central Government headquartered in the city according to the plan approved by the Chairman of the City People's Committee; direct the People's Education Council at the commune level, agencies and units in the area to implement QPAN Education for students, foster QPAN knowledge for subjects under their authority, propagate and disseminate QPAN knowledge to the entire population.
The Council has the right to request the city's Departments, branches, and central agencies located in the area, the QPAN Education Council at the commune level, vocational training institutions, and higher education institutions in the city to provide information on QPAN Education; Inspection, summary, summary, and rewards; recommendations to resolve complaints, denunciations, and handle violations of the law on QPAN Education.
Accordingly, every month, quarter, 6 months, year or suddenly, the QPAN Education Results Reporting Council shall send to the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee, the Military Region QPAN Education Council and the Central QPAN Education Council; Perform other tasks assigned by the Chairman of the City People's Committee.
