At the event, CMC Chairman Nguyen Trung Chinh proposed the AI transformation initiative, AIX, with the goal of building Ho Chi Minh City into an "AI City" and the world's artificial intelligence (AI) center.
He shared that AI is not only a technology but also a potential for development. With its strong impact on all areas of life, CMC announced its AI Transformation Strategy on September 11. In addition, CMC also has an AI strategy in Japan.
With these initiatives, CMC hopes to accompany Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to become a leading technology center and if successful, Ho Chi Minh City can become a model for many places to learn from.
CMC Technology Group is committed to accompanying the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in implementing the center's missions and strategic goals. At the same time, CMC will pioneer in providing the most advanced technology solutions, meeting the development needs of Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country.
The Ho Chi Minh City C4IR Center is one of the important projects in the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Vietnam and the World Economic Forum (WEF) for the period 2023-2026. This is the second C4IR center in Southeast Asia, after Malaysia, and is part of the WEF's global network of Fourth Industrial Revolution Centers.
Centre C4IR will focus on research activities, policy proposals and technology transfer, creating technology ecosystems in line with the trend of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The technology fields that the centre will target include semiconductors, biotechnology, new materials, drones, artificial intelligence, IoT, etc.
With the support of international organizations and large enterprises such as CMC, Center C4IR is expected to become a driving force for sustainable development for Ho Chi Minh City and create strong influence for the whole country.
