Within just 1 week, from August 28 to September 3, Khoai Chau Commune Police (Hung Yen Province) consecutively discovered and arrested 3 subjects for illegal possession of drugs.
Specifically, at 11:30 a.m. on August 28, at Ngoc Nha Thuong bridge area, the police force caught Nguyen Van Dung (born in 1983, residing in Huong Quat 2 village, Chi Minh commune) red-handed in possession of a small paper package containing 0.139g of heroin. On September 2, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Province Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Dung for the act of "Illegal possession of narcotics" under Article 249 of the Penal Code.
Then, at 11:00 a.m. on August 29, in the field of Tieu Quan village, Khoai Chau commune police caught Le Quang Hop (born in 1989, residing in Huong Quat 2 village, Chi Minh commune) in possession of a pack of heroin. On September 2, the Investigation Police Agency initiated a case and prosecuted Hop for the same act as above.
At 11:00 a.m. on September 3, also at Ngoc Nha Thuong bridge area, the police force continued to catch Nguyen The Don (born in 1982, residing in Ngoc Nha Ha village, Khoai Chau commune) red-handed with evidence of a small paper package containing 0.207g of heroin. On September 3, the Investigation Police Agency issued a decision to temporarily detain Don for investigation and handling according to regulations.
Currently, the case file is being further consolidated to strictly handle the subjects according to the law.
