Information from Can Tho City Police, Nhon My Commune Police have just quickly solved property theft cases during the peak period of attacking and suppressing crime in the area.
Accordingly, at 08:30 on December 31, 2025, immediately after receiving a report from people about a motorbike theft, Nhon My Commune Police urgently verified, reviewed the subjects and cordoned off the area. In a short time, the police force identified 3 suspicious subjects and invited them to the headquarters to work.
Through struggle, interrogation and expanded investigation, the subjects N.G.B, N.D.T and D.V.B admitted not only to committing the above-mentioned motorbike theft but also to committing many other property thefts in Nhon My commune, Dai Ngai commune and Cu Lao Dung district (old). Notably, in Minh Chau residential area, this group used weapons, a iron bar, to attack a sleeping security guard to seize mobile phones and cash.
Nhon My Commune Police have conducted verification and seized 4 motorbikes, 1 electric bicycle, 1 mobile phone and related exhibits. Currently, the case is being further investigated and verified for handling according to the provisions of law.
