At 10:00 p.m. on November 1, at the house of Nguyen Van Ngoc (born in 1988, in Hop Thanh 4 residential group, Le Ich Moc ward, Hai Phong), Le Ich Moc ward police inspected and caught Nguyen Van Ngoc (homeowner) and Bui Van Huan (born in 1985, residing in the same residential group) red-handed for organizing illegal drug use, along with 2 subjects for illegal drug use. The authorities seized 9.62 grams of Methamphetamine and 1 set of drug use items.
Through the investigation, the ward police clarified that the subject who sold drugs to Nguyen Van Ngoc's group was Tran Huu Tuan (born in 1983, residing in Quang Thanh 6 residential group, Le Ich Moc ward). Conducting an emergency search at Tuan's house, the police seized 5.22 kg of firecrackers that had been assessed by the Criminal Techniques Department - Hai Phong City Police.
The ward police have executed an emergency detention order, an emergency arrest warrant, a decision to temporarily detain Tran Huu Tuan of the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Phong City Police for the act of Illegal drug trafficking; a decision to temporarily detain Nguyen Van Ngoc and Bui Van Huan for the act of organizing illegal drug use.
Currently, the ward police have handed over the drug crime investigation police department to continue investigating and handling according to their authority.
