An Giang - The police have focused on simplifying the process and shortening the time to process dossiers.

On March 19, at Phu Quoc Special Zone Police, An Giang Provincial Police organized a reception and working session with the survey delegation of the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative Reform, Justice - Ministry of Public Security to guide and support An Giang Provincial Police and Phu Quoc Special Zone Police in implementing administrative procedure reform criteria.

The survey delegation was led by Major General Tran Nguyen Quan, Deputy Director of the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative Reform, Justice - Ministry of Public Security.

On the side of An Giang Provincial Police, Colonel Diep Van The, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, chaired the working session; also attending were representatives of leaders of professional departments of the Provincial Police, Commander of Phu Quoc Special Zone Police and Director of the Special Zone Public Administrative Service Center.

At the working session, representatives of An Giang Provincial Police reported on the situation and results of implementing administrative procedure reform in the past time, focusing on simplifying procedures, shortening dossier processing time, promoting the application of information technology, providing online public services, contributing to improving the quality of service to people, organizations, and businesses.

In particular, Phu Quoc Special Zone Police have proactively coordinated with the Special Zone Public Administrative Service Center to implement many synchronous solutions, gradually building a modern, professional, public, and transparent administration.

Members of the survey delegation exchanged and frankly assessed the achieved results, and pointed out some shortcomings and limitations in the process of implementing administrative procedure reform criteria; guided and answered difficulties and obstacles and proposed many practical solutions to improve work efficiency in the coming time.

Speaking at the working session, Major General Tran Nguyen Quan acknowledged and praised the efforts of An Giang Provincial Police and Phu Quoc Special Zone Police in implementing administrative procedure reform, especially the spirit of proactiveness and decisiveness in serving the People. Major General Tran Nguyen Quan requested that in the coming time, the Provincial Police continue to closely follow the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, taking people and businesses as the center of service; promote digital transformation, standardize professional processes; strengthen inspection and supervision, promptly rectify limitations, contributing to building a regular, elite, and modern People's Police force.

On behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Police, Colonel Diep Van The - Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police, received the directions of the survey delegation, and affirmed that An Giang Provincial Police will continue to improve the spirit of responsibility, determined to effectively implement the criteria for administrative procedure reform; focus on improving the quality of the contingent of officers and soldiers. Strengthen the application of science and technology, create the most favorable conditions for people and businesses when resolving administrative procedures, contributing to serving socio-economic development and ensuring security and order in the area, towards building a service, modern, and professional administration, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
