On August 20, Binh My Commune Police (formerly Cu Chi District) said they were extracting security cameras to track down the truck and the driver involved in a traffic collision that caused a young man on a motorbike to fall. Notably, the truck driver left the scene after the accident.
The incident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. the same day on Nguyen Van Bich Street, through Binh My Commune. At that time, a truck (license plate unknown) was moving from Xang Bridge. When reaching this section of the road, the driver steered to avoid another truck going in the wrong direction. This hit caused the truck to collide with a motorbike driven by a young man.
The collision caused the young man to sway, lose control and fall onto the road. However, instead of stopping to handle the situation, the truck driver continued to move and abandoned the victim.
Fortunately, the young man was only slightly injured. The authorities are urgently verifying and searching for the car and the driver to clarify the incident.
