At 9:45 p.m. on October 3, while patrolling the road in Tan Truong Industrial Park, Mao Dien Commune, the Commune Police working group discovered and inspected Le Trong Truong (born in 1994, hometown in Van An Commune, Nghe An Province, temporarily residing in Thanh Dong Ward, Hai Phong City).
Through inspection, the police discovered that Truong was hiding a cardboard box containing 4 square boxes, each box containing 49 cylindrical paper tubes with a diameter of 2 cm, with slow-burning wire, with a total weight of about 8 kg. The school admitted that these were explosive fireworks produced abroad, and the subject bought them for use.
The commune police also seized 1 motorbike and 1 Iphone 14 Promax mobile phone with many images of firecrackers.
Expanding the investigation, Mao Dien Commune Police coordinated with Thanh Dong Ward Police to inspect the school's rented room and seized 5 more round objects with a diameter of about 3 cm. The school confessed that the firecrackers were "fighting firecrackers", manufactured abroad) and a box containing gray powder. The school said that it was firecrackers.
Currently, the Mao Dien Commune Police are continuing to investigate, complete the file, and handle the case according to the law.
