At a working session with the working group of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province on the afternoon of September 18, Mr. Luong Duy Toan - General Director of Ho Toan Joint Stock Company expressed his desire to participate in the "School Milk" Program, contributing to improving nutrition and improving the health of students in the province.
According to Mr. Toan, the unit will provide Kun milk products processed from quality fresh milk at Ho Toan Dairy Farm. The company commits to supporting 10-20% according to market price for similar products if participating in the program.
With this proposal, Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Chairman of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province said that participating in the "School Milk" Program of enterprises is very meaningful. Request Ho Toan Joint Stock Company to organize a pilot implementation in some areas, then expand to other areas in the province.
It is known that the dairy cow farm of Ho Toan Joint Stock Company in My Lam ward (Tuyen Quang province) currently has about 2,700 cows, of which 1,300 are being Dairy, with an average output of 45-50 tons of milk/day. This is also the largest dairy cow farming facility in Tuyen Quang province.
This enterprise is developing a plan to expand production in Tuyen Quang province with a scale of 10,000 dairy cows and a milk processing factory.
Currently, in Tuyen Quang, there are 3 dairy farms with a total of over 6,400 cows, of which 2/3 of the herds are being exploited for milk. Dairy farming is gradually affirming its development advantage to become the main industry in agricultural production in Tuyen Quang province.
