Following the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, the Traffic Police Department sent officers to An Phuoc Prison (An Thai Commune, Ho Chi Minh City) to organize propaganda at 4 campuses.
The prisoners were informed about the new points of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024 and Decree 168/2024/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of traffic.
The content focuses on regulations on deduction of points, restoration of driving license points, and analysis of dangerous traffic situations through real images.
In addition, the traffic police officer also cited and analyzed a number of cases of traffic violations with serious consequences, and was prosecuted under Article 260 of the Penal Code.
Propaganda activities aim to help those who have completed their prison sentences (the person granted amnesty) update their legal knowledge, raise their awareness of compliance when participating in traffic, contribute to preventing accidents and create a favorable premise for reintegration into the community.
