Vinh Phuc Traffic Police fined nearly 100 students for traffic violations

Vinh Phuc - In October, the Traffic Police of Yen Lac District Police handled many cases of students violating traffic safety.

On November 1, the police of Vinh Phuc province informed that after 1 month of deployment, the police force of Yen Lac district police has handled nearly 100 cases of violating students, 9 cases of handing over vehicles to people who are not eligible to participate in traffic, with a fine of nearly VND 20 million.

Common violations such as not wearing a helmet, not having a rearview mirror on the left side of the driver, giving the vehicle to an unqualified person, etc. are all strictly handled.

In addition to handling students who violate the rules, Yen Lac District Police have reported violations to the school and continued to verify the identities of other cases.

After 1 month of launching, up to now, basically students in the district and parents have raised their awareness of participating in traffic and strictly followed the regulations of the law on traffic safety, contributing to building a beautiful image of traffic culture.

In the coming time, Yen Lac District Police will continue to coordinate with the District Department of Education and Training and schools to strengthen propaganda and education on traffic safety laws for students and step up patrolling and handling of traffic safety violations, focusing on strictly handling cases of handing over vehicles to people who are not qualified to participate in traffic.
