On the morning of February 15, the Military Command (CHQS) of Da Nang city organized a ceremony to announce and award the decision of the Ministry of National Defense on calling reserve officers to serve in the army and recruiting professional soldiers (QNCN). The conference was held simultaneously at 5 Regional Defense Commands under the City Military Command.
Senior Colonel Vo Van Tuan, City Party Committee Member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the City Military Command chaired at the Area 2 - Ban Thach Defense Command. At the remaining locations, comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, heads of the City Military Command directly chaired. Attending were heads of 3 agencies of the City Military Command; leaders of Party committees and authorities of communes and wards; commanders of Area Defense Commands and reserve officers, professional soldiers receiving decisions.
This time, the whole city has 293 reserve officers called to serve in active duty and recruit additional professional soldiers according to the decision of the Ministry of National Defense, of which 223 comrades are cadres, 70 comrades are military personnel managing. This is a force that has been reviewed and selected carefully, ensuring political standards, moral qualities, professional qualifications, meeting the requirements of building the city's armed forces in the new situation.
Speaking to assign tasks, leaders of the City Military Command congratulated the comrades who were trusted by the Ministry of National Defense to be called up and recruited to serve in the army; and at the same time acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of responsibility and contributions of the contingent of reserve officers and professional soldiers in the past time, especially in the context of arranging the organizational structure and implementing the 2-level local government model.
Leaders of the City Military Command requested comrades to continue to promote their capacity and work strengths, proactively coordinate with the commune-level Military Command to advise local Party committees and authorities to lead and direct the successful implementation of local military and defense tasks in the coming time.
