On April 26, at the 23rd Session of the City People's Council (PC), term X, 2021-2026, the People's Council of Da Nang City officially approved a resolution to recognize FPT Joint Stock Company and Marvell Vietnam Technology Company Limited as strategic partners in the field of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence.
Da Nang aims to become one of the three leading centers in Vietnam in semiconductor microchip design and artificial intelligence application by 2030. At the same time, develop at least 30 microchip design enterprises and related services, attract 1-2 packaging and testing enterprises.
The recognition of Da Nang's strategic cooperation agreement with FPT and Marvell Vietnam is considered an important step, creating a premise for the breakthrough development of the microchip industry in the city.
In which, FPT Joint Stock Company is committed to accompanying Da Nang for the next 5 years. They will support the city in software, hardware, human resource training, and other contents to develop semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence. Attracting FPT Joint Stock Company to set up an office at the Da Nang Software Park Concentrated Information Technology Park further affirms its long-term investment commitment and contribution to the city's technology ecosystem.
Marvell Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd., a branch of Marvell Technology (USA) is also committed to supporting Da Nang for at least 5 years, focusing on software development, hardware, human resource training, and other contents related to microchips and artificial intelligence.
