From the night of November 4 to the early morning of November 5, there was heavy rain in the city, causing flooding in many areas and streets. In Hoa Vang district, the Cu De river rose, posing a risk of flooding. Therefore, the Traffic Police of Hoa Vang district and Hoa Bac commune police set up checkpoints and put up warning ropes at La Nga pass, on DT601 road.
The District Police Traffic Police force guides people to cross the road to ensure safety and prevent landslides when passing.
At the same time, people are advised not to go fishing, collect firewood, or cross deep water, but to stock up on food, keep their belongings high, and evacuate to safe areas.
Previously, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense announced that due to the influence of the cold air strengthening combined with the East wind disturbance, from November 4 to 8, the city is likely to have moderate rain, heavy rain, and some places with very heavy rain and thunderstorms. There is a risk of flooding in low-lying areas along rivers, flooding in urban areas, flash floods, and landslides on steep slopes in mountainous areas of Da Nang City.
