At the 21st session of the People's Council (HDND), term X, term 2021 - 2026 on the morning of December 11, Mr. Le Van Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city, said that in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the city's organizations will continuously improve the quality and methods of operation. Accompany and coordinate with the city government in performing socio-economic, security and defense tasks. Chairing 81 meetings with voters, organizing 126 monitoring topics, 45 social criticism sessions related to projects and programs, contributing opinions to 78 draft documents of the Government and the city.
The City Front also promptly issued a letter calling for and receiving support of more than 50 billion VND, contributing to encouraging and helping people in the Northern provinces overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives after storm No. 3. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City also highly agreed with the theme of 2025 as "The year of focusing on streamlining the apparatus associated with cutting administrative procedures, effectively implementing the organization of urban government and specific mechanisms and policies to strongly promote economic growth."
According to Mr. Trung, with just over a month left until the Lunar New Year 2025, the Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations are determined to join hands with authorities at all levels to take care of Tet for policy families, poor households, near-poor households, special subjects, vulnerable groups, and members and union members in difficult circumstances.
"The City Front will also organize the Spring of Love 2025 program, giving away nearly 15,000 gifts, worth over 10.8 billion VND, so that everyone and every family can have Tet. Agencies, units, organizations, businesses and individuals continue to join hands to share and support so that the city's people can enter a new year filled with love, warmth, safety and joy," Mr. Trung suggested.
