The international delegation planted friendship trees, visited the Da Nang Museum, and visited the Exhibition of Friendship and Cooperation Cities at APEC Park.

On the morning of January 18, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Da Nang City organized a program of planting friendship trees, visiting the Da Nang Museum, and visiting the Exhibition of Friendship and Cooperation Cities at APEC Park for domestic and international delegates to attend.

The program is within the framework of the Forum of Friendly and Cooperative Cities - Da Nang to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Da Nang city and foreign localities.

At the Suoi Nguon Friendship Park in Son Tra district, domestic and international delegates together planted 50 Dau Rai trees - symbolizing more than 50 localities of 24 countries around the world with which the city has established relations to plant at the place where the source stream flows from the top of Son Tra Peninsula to the sea.

This activity not only contributes to raising awareness of protecting and beautifying the environment but also has the meaning of building a symbol of peaceful and friendly connection with countries and peoples around the world.

Along with that, domestic and international delegates participating in the Forum of Friendship and Cooperation Cities - Da Nang 2025 were the first guests to visit Da Nang Museum before the inauguration and welcoming of guests.

The highlight of the series of accompanying activities of the event is the “Exhibition of Cities of Friendship and Cooperation”, bringing a unique international exchange space, not only honoring the good cooperation values ​​that Da Nang has built with international partners but also being a place for other localities to promote information and introduce their unique cultural products to people and tourists.

Speaking at the Exhibition of Friendship and Cooperation Cities, Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee said that in the current context and trend, building and maintaining friendly and cooperative relations on both bilateral and multilateral levels has become more important than ever. That spirit has been clearly demonstrated through the efforts to connect, share and accompany each other between Da Nang city and 50 localities of 24 countries around the world over the past 30 years.

“The Exhibition is not only an opportunity to honor the good cooperation values ​​that Da Nang has built with international partners, but also a place for other localities to promote information and introduce their unique cultural products to people and tourists,” said the Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee.
