Information from Can Tho City Police, My Huong Commune Police have just quickly busted a case of illegal drug trafficking and organization in Thien Tanh Hamlet, arresting 3 subjects and many related exhibits.
Specifically, at 1:30 p.m. on December 4, 2025, through the work of grasping the situation in the area, the Crime Prevention and Control Police Team of My Huong Commune Police discovered that at the house of Phan Thanh T (born in 1989, residing in Thien Tanh Hamlet), many subjects gathered to use drugs, affecting local security and order.
The Commune Police Command assigned the Working Group to conduct an inspection, thereby discovering 2 more subjects including: Phan Thanh N (born in 1997, residing in My Loi B Hamlet, My Tu Commune) and Huynh Vu T (born in 2001, residing in Thien Tanh Hamlet, My Huong Commune).
At the scene, the authorities seized a glass basket, 2 drug use tools, 2 nylon bags containing white solid crystals suspected to be drugs and many items for illegal use of drugs. Rapid test results showed that all 3 subjects tested positive for Methamphetamine.
Through the struggle, the subjects confessed to having organized drug use many times at Phan Thanh T's house. Huynh Vu T admitted that the 2 nylon bags containing white solid crystals were crystal meth, which the subjects bought for use and resold to drug addicts.
Currently, My Huong Commune Police have transferred the entire case file to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Can Tho City Police to continue investigating and handling in accordance with legal regulations.
