Tra Vinh - Tourists coming to Duyen Hai Town on the occasion of Tet 2025 are over 42,000 people, revenue is estimated at over 3 billion VND, equal to the whole year 2023 of the tourism industry.

On February 3, Mr. Le Thanh Tam - Vice Chairman of Duyen Hai Town People's Committee - said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the tourism industry of Duyen Hai Town continued to receive positive signals when the number of visitors increased sharply compared to the same period last year.

According to Mr. Tam, from December 28 to the 5th day of Tet, Duyen Hai Town welcomed about 42,000 visitors, bringing in revenue of over 3 billion VND, significantly higher than the figure of 27,000 visitors in 2024 and revenue equal to the entire year 2023 of the tourism industry.

According to Mr. Tam, this strong increase is due to the improvement of traffic infrastructure, especially the repaired National Highway 53B, Ba Dong Bridge and the coastal corridor route serving tourism, and the completed sea dyke system, helping tourists easily move to sightseeing spots, check-in, and experience.

"Thanks to favorable weather, upgraded transport infrastructure and the development of tourist attractions, Duyen Hai Town is gradually affirming its position as an attractive destination for tourism in the West," Mr. Tam added.

Thanks to that, many families have chosen Duyen Hai as their destination for their first trip of the year.

Ms. Le Ngoc Nhu Yen - a tourist from Chau Thanh, Soc Trang - said that my family and friends of 16 people left at 4:30 a.m. to go to Ba Dong to play and then continue to visit Ao Ba Om.

"I learned about Ba Dong through a friend's recommendation. When I arrived, I was really impressed with the beautiful seascape and the wind turbines that created an ideal photo spot," Yen added.

Also sharing the joy of Tet in Duyen Hai Town, Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong (Ben Tre) said she was satisfied with the infrastructure and accompanying services for tourism here after more than 3 years of returning.

According to Ms. Huong, the road to Ba Dong beach used to be bumpy, with many potholes and especially there was no accommodation. But now the road is wide, with convenient places to eat and rest.
