In 2024, the People's Committee of Cu M'gar district has not yet directed, organized inspections, examined veterinary activities, and handled violations according to its authority.
The People's Committee of Ea Kueh commune did not issue the 2024 Plan for preventing livestock and poultry diseases and did not propagate on mass media.
The District Livestock and Veterinary Station has not organized training for relevant organizations and individuals on measures to prevent and control animal diseases on land.
Regarding the epidemic situation, Ea Drong commune detected 1 case of rabies in dogs but only vaccinated 280 doses (17% of the total herd of 1,650 dogs and cats), not ensuring compliance with regulations.
Ea Kpam commune detected 3 cases of rabies in dogs; vaccinated 750 dogs and cats against rabies (83.3% of the total herd of 900 dogs), but still did not meet the requirements.
The People's Committees of Cu M'gar, Ea M'nang, Ea Pok communes and towns in Quang Phu did not issue a Decision to destroy animals during the epidemic.
When announcing the epidemic, the People's Committee of Cu M'gar district had not directed relevant organizations and individuals to implement epidemic prevention measures.
In particular, animals that are sick or die in 2023, but it will not be until May 22, 2024 that the District People's Committee will issue a decision to destroy them.
In response to the above shortcomings, the Department Inspectorate recommended reviewing the responsibilities of related individuals.
