Da Nang - The model of "Traffic Police responsible for the area of a ward/commune" has initially shown its effectiveness, creating a strong impact.

On August 9, the Da Nang City Police organized a conference to evaluate the results of the high-profile plan to ensure traffic safety and order, urban order linked to the model of "Traffic Police responsible for the district-level area."

Traffic accidents in Da Nang City have decreased in all three criteria. Specifically, compared to the previous adjacent period, the number of traffic accidents decreased by 8 cases, 1 death, and 5 injuries; no cases of illegal racing occurred; 100% of cases of young people gathering, causing chaos, weaving, and driving recklessly were discovered, prevented, and handled promptly.

100% of police units and localities from the city to the ward/commune level have advised the Traffic Safety Committee at all levels to direct and mobilize relevant forces to support the police at all levels in ensuring traffic safety and order, urban order.

The Da Nang City Traffic Police have discovered and drawn up 9,637 cases of violating traffic safety and order, issued 6,026 decisions to impose fines and collected 8.6 billion dong for the state budget.

Among them, 1,396 vehicles were temporarily seized, and 994 drivers had their licenses revoked. Compared to the previous adjacent period, the number of cases drawn up increased by 1,833 cases (23%), the number of decisions to impose fines increased by 1,104 cases (22.4%), and the fine amount increased by 1 billion dong (13.2%)…

The model of "Traffic Police responsible for the district-level area" has initially yielded positive results, creating a strong impact. In particular, the discovery and handling of police violations at the ward/commune level increased by more than 15% compared to the previous adjacent period.
