Hiring to deliver drugs but not yet caught red-handed by the police

Kien Giang - The two subjects confessed that the above drugs were hired by a man to be delivered and promised to pay the fee after the transaction was completed.

On May 14, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department - Kien Giang Provincial Police said that it had detained Luong Phat Vu (born in 1993) and Huynh Minh Tu (born in 1992, both residing in Rach Gia City, Kien Giang Province) to investigate the act of illegally storing drugs.

Previously, at around 11:30 p.m. on May 8, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department coordinated with the Vinh Hoa Phu Commune Police, Chau Thanh District to conduct an inspection and caught Vu and Tu red-handed illegally storing drugs.

At the scene, the authorities inspected the motorbike driven by Vu and seized 2 white plastic bags containing solid crystals suspected to be crystal meth, along with some tools used for drug use.

At the police station, the two subjects confessed that the above drugs were hired by a man named K to deliver to a subject named M in Vinh Hoa Phu commune, Chau Thanh district and promised to pay the court fees after the transaction was completed. However, before they could deliver the goods, Vu and Tu were discovered and arrested by the authorities.

Vu also had a previous conviction for illegal possession of narcotics.

The case is currently being further investigated and clarified by the police to be handled according to the provisions of law.
