On March 27, Mr. Lam Van Man - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Soc Trang province - chaired the Ceremony to announce the Secretariat's Decision on personnel work.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 2005-QDNS/TW of the Secretariat appointing Colonel Tran Van Duong - Director of Soc Trang Provincial Police - to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee Lam Van Man congratulated Colonel Tran Van Duong on being appointed by the Secretariat to join the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
The Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee suggested that Colonel Tran Van Duong continue to promote his strengths, abilities, and experience together with the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to lead and direct the successful implementation of the political tasks of the Provincial Party Committee.
Colonel Tran Van Duong needs to strengthen coordination to ensure the work of maintaining political security, order, social safety and security in the area, creating favorable conditions for local socio-economic development, contributing to the completion of the goals and targets of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025.
Pay attention to leading and directing the implementation of Conclusion No. 124, dated February 10, 2025 of the Politburo on continuing to arrange and streamline the organization of the local public security apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new period.
Comprehensively monitor the activities of the police force after the reorganization, especially receiving, reviewing records, providing information to promptly serve internal political protection work. Implement well the political and ideological work in the provincial police force; strengthen the spirit of solidarity, internal unity, and improve work efficiency.
Before taking on the position of Director of Soc Trang Provincial Police, Colonel Tran Van Duong had held many positions at Can Tho City Police, and was an officer with many outstanding achievements during his work.
