Welcoming International Women 8.3, at Lien Hoa vegetarian restaurant (Hai Duong city), a show of the unique Ao Dai collection of Designer Cao Thu Van was held by child models of the Hai Phong Ao Dai Heritage Club.
The performance attracted a large audience to attend.On stage, child models confidently perform, making their mark with unique ao dai designs, expressing national pride and the beauty of Vietnamese culture.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao - Representative of the program's organizing committee - said: "Through the program, we hope to contribute to preserving and promoting the image of Ao Dai in particular and the quintessence of national culture in general to the people of Hai Duong, making the Vietnamese Ao Dai a symbol of connecting generations.Unique ao dai with the meticulousness of each stride and soaring features will contribute to enhancing the beauty and value of cultural heritage".
Recently, at Con Son Relic, in the Con Son - Kiep Bac National Special Relic Site (Chi Linh City), the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union organized an Ao Dai fashion show with the theme "Sho Dong - Connecting and spreading".
With the participation of fashion designers from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong City and Hai Duong Province, the program has 4 topics including: Con Son scent (collection of designer Cao Thu Van); Xu Dong color (collection of designs of designer Xuan Thao); Heritage road (collection of designer Thao Van) and Heritage color (collection of ao dai called " Sen" by designer Huong Beful); along with 12 ao dai designs for children to perform inspired by the Con Son - Kiep Bac Historical Site and some famous places in Hai Duong with the message of inspiring the younger generation to love heritage.
This is the fourth time the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union has organized a fashion ao dai performance and the second time it has performed in the space of Con Son relic.The theme of Ao Dai "Spring - Connecting and spreading" converges at Con Son scenic spot not only to honor the beauty of Ao Dai but also to promote and advertise tourism in Hai Duong province, arousing pride and responsibility to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese people.
The Women's Union of Thanh Mien district also organized a contest " charming and confident Thanh Mien women through photos" on Facebook.The contest was attended by 17 contestants representing more than 35,000 members of the Women's Union in communes and towns in the district.
Each contestant chose a photo of themselves wearing the most beautiful ao dai and sent it to the District Women's Union to post on the "Phu Nu Thanh Mien" information page on Facebook for members and people to vote according to the prescribed procedure.
