Hai Phong City People's Committee decided to establish 3 interdisciplinary food safety inspection teams. The first team is headed by Mr. Phan Huy Thuc, Deputy Director of the Department of Health; the second team is headed by Mr. Pham Tuan Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; and the third team is headed by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuat, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The inspection teams will inspect the implementation of regulations and conditions for ensuring food safety, labeling, and advertising products in food production, trading, and import. During the inspection, the inspection teams will grasp the situation of ensuring food safety during the Lunar New Year 2025 and festivals in the districts.
The inspection subjects are establishments producing, trading and importing foods that are widely used during the Lunar New Year in the city such as: meat and meat products; seafood and seafood products; beer, wine, soft drinks; cakes, jams, candies; imported vegetables, tubers and fruits; fish sauce, spices...
Inspections are conducted periodically. If necessary, inspection teams can conduct surprise inspections. Team No. 1 inspects the following districts: Ngo Quyen, Hong Bang, Thuy Nguyen, Kien Thuy, Cat Hai. Team No. 2 inspects the following districts: Le Chan, Kien An, An Lao, Vinh Bao. Team No. 3 inspects the following districts: An Duong, Hai An, Duong Kinh, Do Son, Tien Lang.
Team No. 1 is the Inspectorate of the Department of Health to handle administrative violations; Team No. 2 is the Inspectorate of the Department of Industry and Trade to handle administrative violations and Team No. 3 is the Inspectorate of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to handle administrative violations. In case an individual or organization commits many violations in many management areas of different sectors, the violation records will be transferred to the Chairman of the People's Committee at the competent level to handle the violation in the area where the violation occurred.
