On October 27, Mr. Vu Cong Than - Chairman of Tan Hung Ward People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to consulting units report on the investment policy for upgrading and renovating Tran Ich Phat Street and report on the approval of the master plan for the Lap Phuong Thanh Vocational Education and Driving Test Center Project - Facility 2.
At the meeting, delegates listened to the consulting unit report on the investment policy for the construction of the roadbed, road surface and drainage system of Tran Ich Phat street.
The main goal of the project is to upgrade and renovate the route to: improve the quality of the route, ensure safety for traffic participants; reduce flooding during heavy rain; create a spacious, clean street, limit environmental pollution; improve the quality of traffic services, traffic management; promote local socio-economic development.
After the delegates contributed their opinions, the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee suggested that the consulting unit should complete the report soon and clarify: the project's investment capital; the implementation time and completion time must be specific, with clear commitments; at the same time, there must be a suitable traffic diversion plan, relocation of electric poles and telecommunication cabinets to ensure safety for traffic participants and people's daily activities.
Regarding the general planning of the Lap Phuong Thanh Vocational Education and Driving Testing Center Project - Facility 2, the project is invested by Lap Phuong Thanh Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, with an area of over 33,000 m2 in Ngoc Son commune (old). Previously, the project only invested in building a driving practice ground to serve the training of students.
The project has been adjusted to build a center to serve both the training and testing of driver's licenses, in order to meet market demand. The total investment capital of the project is more than 145.5 billion VND, of which the investor contributed more than 43.6 billion VND, the rest is loan capital of more than 101.8 billion VND.
The Chairman of the Ward People's Committee proposed to clarify a number of related issues: drainage and fire prevention and fighting systems to ensure people's daily life; review land use planning and construction works.
