At the above time, a truck with license plate 49H - 05.081 driven by a driver named Nghia (43 years old, residing in Dong Son ward, Quang Tri) was traveling on National Highway 20 in the direction from Lam Dong to Ho Chi Minh City.
When reaching km 99+700 on Bao Loc Pass in Da Huoai 2 Commune (Lam Dong), it collided with a truck with license plate 60K - 70.026 driven by a driver named Kiet (32 years old, residing in Gia Kiem Commune, Dong Nai) traveling in the opposite direction.
The head-to-head match caused severe damage to the cabins of the two trucks. Fortunately, the accident only caused 2 drivers to suffer minor scratches. The accident caused local traffic congestion on Bao Loc Pass.
After the accident, the Traffic Police of Lam Dong Police and Da Huoai 2 Commune Police were present to direct traffic and regulate traffic safety; at the same time, they examined the scene to clarify the cause of the accident.
