Hundreds of students go into the forest to learn about saving and protecting water resources

More than 360 students and teachers participated in the "Forest Experience" program in the journey to save and protect water resources.

Within the framework of the program "Mizuiku - I love clean water" in 2024, the Central Council of Young Pioneers, the Forestry Department, the Center for Sustainable Development Education and Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam have just coordinated to organize the program "Forest Experience" - An exciting outdoor class on saving and protecting water resources, with the theme "Journey with Mizu to protect the environment" in 2024 for 3 days (October 15-17) at Cat Tien National Park.

More than 360 students and teachers participated in this program.

In addition to the classes taught in the main curriculum at primary level nationwide, clean water projects at schools, experiential educational activities in nature called “Journey with Mizu to protect the environment” designed as an interesting “class in the forest”, have been and are being held annually to raise students’ awareness of the role and importance of forests, the close relationship between forests and water resources, the issue of forest protection, land preservation and water resource protection.

With the purpose of long-term education, Mizuiku information corners at National Parks are also specially designed to further spread the meaning of the program, not only to children but also to thousands of visitors every year.

In the coming time, the program hopes to expand its scale and implementation to reach more primary school students in localities nationwide, contributing positively to raising awareness of forest and water resource protection for the community.
