On January 23, the Office of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced the conclusion of the Provincial Chairman Nguyen Tan Tuan after an online meeting with 143 points to inspect and review the preparation and service work for the Lunar New Year 2025.
At the end of the year, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan directed localities to continue to implement social security policies well, closely follow the locality; grasp the living conditions of policy beneficiaries and people in difficult circumstances to care for and provide appropriate and timely support; proactively and actively take care of and prepare Tet for the people, ensuring that everyone and every household has the conditions to enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet.
Coordinate with social insurance units and post offices to inspect the implementation and completion of salary and social allowance payments for January and February 2025 and Tet regimes (before January 20, 2025); complete rice support for people in difficulty during the Lunar New Year, for people at risk of food shortage during the Lunar New Year and the early crop gap (before January 17, 2025).
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs is assigned to monitor, urge and coordinate with localities in distributing rice promptly, fully and to the right beneficiaries.
At the same time, work with districts, towns, cities and related units to focus on completing the repair of temporary and dilapidated houses for households eligible for support; the Department of Industry and Trade and localities ensure the supply of goods, especially food, foodstuffs and other essential goods; strengthen supervision of the implementation of measures to declare, post and publicize information on prices, and strictly handle violations of price laws during the Lunar New Year 2025.
At the same time, coordinate with the Provincial Market Management Department to strengthen control of smuggled, counterfeit and poor quality goods before, during and after Tet.
