On January 9, Dak Lak Provincial Police held a conference to review the work of the Traffic Police force in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.
Lieutenant Colonel Bui Trong Tuan - Head of Traffic Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police informed that during the year, the Traffic Police mobilized maximum force and means to work "throughout the night, through Tet, through holidays and without days off".

Authorities have detected and recorded 82,486 violations (an increase of 58% compared to 2023), fined 57,531 cases, and paid more than 112.3 billion VND to the treasury (an increase of 29% compared to 2023).
Of these, more than 25,800 vehicles of all kinds were temporarily detained, and 10,668 cases had their driving licenses revoked for a period of time.
Traffic police recorded more than 17,700 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 158 cases of drug violations, and 133 cases of Party member violations.
Through the camera system, traffic safety violations were detected and 5,890 violation notifications were sent. Notably, 9,293 students were disciplined for traffic safety violations.
In 2024, Dak Lak province had 438 traffic accidents, killing 278 people, injuring 313 people, and damaging 630 vehicles. Compared to the same period in 2023, the number of accidents decreased by 3.3%, the number of deaths increased by 3%, and the number of injuries increased by 5.74%.
