On July 2, Citizen and Education Promotion e-magazine held a closing ceremony and award ceremony for the writing contest "Studying Family". The contest was launched in September 2024 with the aim of honoring and praising outstanding family study models nationwide.
After 10 months of implementation, the contest received more than 400 articles from journalists, researchers and parents, students. In it, there are many stories about families overcoming difficulties to access knowledge, typical family study models.
The jury selected the 16 best works to award with 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 10 Encouragement Prizes.
Individuals whose works attract the most readers in Citizen and Encouragement Magazine will also receive awards.


The first prize of the contest went to the work "From the cassava-pcked meal in Muong Khen to the family studying for a full master's and doctoral degree". The story of teacher Bui Thi Phuc's extended family conveys the spirit of lifelong learning to many readers.
Journalist Uong Ngoc - First Prize winning author - shared: "I know the family of Ms. Bui Thi Phuc when the state met and honored 259 elderly people nationwide. I was very impressed with the image of a grandparent building a large family with many academic achievements in Muong land, so I decided to spread this story to many people.
In addition to the individual award, the Organizing Committee of the contest also decided to award 1 Prize for the Most Read article and 1 Prize for the collective with the most launching and supporting achievements in the contest.
According to the Organizing Committee, from individual stories about exemplary families, the authors have generalized them into social issues, promoting the spirit of lifelong learning in the community.
