On November 7, Kien Giang Provincial Police in cooperation with the Provincial Union and Kien Giang Vocational College organized a ceremony to respond to the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2024. More than 400 cadres, union members, youth and students in the area of Rach Gia City participated.
At the ceremony, delegates and youth union members learned about the meaning of the Law Day of the Social Republic of Vietnam; launched a contest to learn the law on a digital platform for members, members and youth in the province in 2024. Propagating the law on drug prevention and control among students and pupils with the theme: "Youth Action - For a drug-free community” and Propagating the law on traffic safety and order for youth with the theme: "Respect the law to build a safe traffic culture".
Through the activities also promote the role and responsibility of youth in the observance and propagation, dissemination and education of law, thereby forming the habit of "Live and follow the Constitution and law” in the majority of union members, members and youth.
At the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Nhat Truong - Deputy Director of Kien Giang Police emphasized the importance of the propagation, dissemination and education of the law in general and the law on security and order in particular. At the same time, he also noted and praised the results and achievements of the Union organization achieved in organizing, implementing and responding to Vietnam Law Day.
Deputy Director of the provincial Public Security Department requested the units to strengthen coordination, promote the role and responsibility of the Unions and Associations at all levels to actively participate in the propagation, dissemination and education of law, especially the youth in Kien Giang province. Concerned sharing, ideal education, life skills, career guidance for the youth to contribute to reducing the rate of youth violating the law.
The police forces shall strictly handle law violations in the course of performing their official duties. To renew law propagation, dissemination and education contents and forms in the direction of focusing on the people and suiting the characteristics and nature of each subject, domain and geographical area. To promptly commend and reward typical collectives and individuals in law formulation, improvement, propagation, dissemination, education and enforcement.
