On March 11, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced that it had issued a digital transformation plan.
The goal of the plan is that by 2025, Khanh Hoa province will fundamentally and comprehensively innovate management and operation, move towards building a digital government, developing a digital economy and digital society; promote production and business activities in the direction of applying digital technology; put Khanh Hoa province in the group of 25 provinces and centrally-run cities at the top in digital transformation.
In particular, in the field of digital government, departments, branches and localities will promote propaganda and mobilize people and businesses to install and use utilities on the Khanh Hoa Digital Citizen application, enhancing the ability to interact between the government and people and businesses.
Khanh Hoa province will also continue to deploy 31 models to effectively exploit and use the National Population Database according to the plan to coordinate the implementation of tasks in the Project "Developing the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030".
In particular, Khanh Hoa province will increase the application of new technology solutions and AI applications to build, upgrade and expand platforms and information systems of sectors and fields, especially those with a great impact on society.
In addition, Khanh Hoa also focused resources on implementing projects and tasks that have been identified and approved in the Smart City Project in Nha Trang city, Cam Ranh city; completing the approval of the Smart City Construction Project in Ninh Hoa town, Cam Lam district.
For the field of Digital Economy, Khanh Hoa province will implement policies, programs and plans to support digital transformation for businesses, especially small, medium and micro enterprises in the area.
