Prosecution of 2 subjects with 9 previous convictions for continuing to steal property

Ha Tinh The Investigation Police Agency of the province has just prosecuted 2 subjects with many previous convictions, continuing to commit many thefts in the area.

The two subjects prosecuted for theft of property are Nguyen Phi Vuong (born in 1997, residing in Ben Cat ward, Ho Chi Minh city) and Nguyen Kim Hai (born in 1986, residing in Huong Khe commune, Ha Tinh province).

In which, Hai has 4 previous convictions (3 for theft of property, 1 for illegal possession of narcotics), Vuong has 3 previous convictions (2 for theft of property, 1 for intentional injury) and 2 previous convictions.

Previously, on May 30, the Criminal Police Department received a report from the public about a property theft that occurred in the area.

After receiving the report, the Criminal Police Department deployed professional measures to verify the suspect.

During the day, the Criminal Police Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police quickly and successfully arrested Nguyen Kim Hai (born in 1986, residing in Huong Khe Commune, Ha Tinh Province).

Through initial statements, Hai confessed that on the night of May 29 and 30, Hai and Vuong broke into 4 houses in Ha Tinh to steal 5 mobile phones, 1 laptop, 1 watch and cash worth nearly 16 million VND.

The police then arrested Nguyen Phi Vuong, but he fled to the southern provinces.

After a period of searching, on July 2, the Ha Tinh Police Working Group arrested the subject Vuong while he was hiding in Dong Nai province.
