On May 4, information from the Ben Tre Provincial Police Electronic Information Portal, the Investigation Police Agency of Ben Tre Provincial Police has just executed a decision to prosecute the accused and an arrest warrant to temporarily detain Tran Minh Khuyen (37 years old, residing in Phu Thanh Hamlet, Phuoc Ngai Commune, Ba Tri District, Ben Tre Province) to investigate the act of illegally storing drugs.
Previously, at around 11:00 a.m. on April 30, 2025, the authorities of Ben Tre province conducted an administrative inspection of a motel in Thanh Binh hamlet (Bao Thuan commune, Ba Tri district) and caught Tran Minh Khuyen red-handed in possession of 3 plastic bags and 1 plastic pipe containing white crystals suspected to be drugs.
Through investigation, the subject Tran Minh Khuyen confessed that the white crystalline substance was crystal meth, purchased from an unknown subject for use.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Ben Tre Province Police continues to investigate and handle according to the law.
