According to the report content, N used his personal Facebook account to access the "Hoa Troi Mien Trung" group and saw a Facebook account named "Pyro Mien Bac" posting articles and images advertising the sale of firecrackers at different prices.
Trusting the advertising content, Mr. N.T.N contacted to order firecrackers with a total amount of 2,900,000 VND and was asked to transfer money in advance. After receiving the money, the subject blocked contact and appropriated the entire amount.
Immediately after receiving the information, Duc Minh Commune Police clarified that the subject who committed the act of defrauding Mr. N.T.N was Hoang Van Phat.
Expanding the investigation, the police agency determined that Hoang Van Phat had committed another fraud case of appropriating property from Mr. N.T.D (residing in Duong Kinh ward, Hai Phong) with the amount of 8,800,000 VND using similar tricks.
Based on the collected documents and evidence, Duc Minh Commune Police issued a decision to prosecute a criminal case and prosecute the defendant Hoang Van Phat for the crime of fraud and appropriation of property.
