On April 5, the Investigation Police Agency of Hue City Police issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Ho Van Thanh (born in 1988, residing on Nguyen Du Street, Gia Hoi Ward, Thuan Hoa District) for the crime of "Theft of property".
Previously, at around 10:15 p.m. on March 22, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Tr. (born in 1992, residing in Huong Vinh ward, Hue city) lost his Yamaha Sirius motorbike while parking on the sidewalk in front of the gate of Hue Central International Hospital.
Then, on March 26, 2025, Mr. Ho Tan Tien (born in 2004, residing in Pho Lai village, Quang Vinh commune, Quang Dien district) also reported the loss of his Yamaha Sirius motorbike in the "Hue Book Space and Culture" area.
After receiving the information, the ward police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of Hue City Police to investigate and determined that Ho Van Thanh was a suspect.
At the police station, Thanh admitted to committing both thefts. The police seized two motorbikes as evidence of the theft.
