On April 23, the Investigation Police Agency of Long An Province Police issued a decision to prosecute 5 defendants to investigate the act of illegally storing drugs, which occurred in My Thanh Dong Commune, Duc Hue District.
The subjects prosecuted include: Nguyen Thanh Tam (51 years old, living in Bac Lieu province); Tu Thi Minh Trang (49 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City); Truong Thanh Truc (25 years old), Mai Thai Binh (26 years old), and Cao Hoang Tuan (31 years old, both living in Long An province).
Previously, the My Thanh Dong Commune Police force conducted an administrative inspection of a house in Hamlet 2, My Thanh Dong Commune, and discovered that Nguyen Thanh Tam, Tu Thi Minh Trang and Truong Thanh Truc were in possession of 0.1334 grams of Methamphetamine. There are also tools for drug use.
Continuing to expand the investigation, My Thanh Dong Commune Police arrested Mai Thai Binh and Cao Hoang Tuan. During the work and search, an additional 3.1799 grams of Methamphetamine were seized.
The case is currently being further investigated by the Investigation Police Agency of Long An Province Police, consolidating the case file to handle in accordance with the provisions of law.
