On November 25, at Phu Loi border commune, Giang Thanh district, Kien Giang province, the Provincial Police Youth Union coordinated with the Student Support Center and Can Tho City Youth Union to organize the launching ceremony of the 2025 Spring Volunteer Program. The program is associated with propaganda, legal education, and gift giving to students and people.
The 2025 Spring Volunteer Program is one of the major activities of the Youth Volunteer Movement starting from November 2024 to February 2025. Thereby, it aims to promote the pioneering, volunteering, and mutual love role of the youth of Kien Giang Provincial Police through volunteer activities; bring warm and meaningful gifts, join hands to help children and people in difficult circumstances in remote, isolated and border areas. The activities contribute to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring social security.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Provincial Police Youth Union coordinated with other units to propagate traffic safety laws to students of Phu Loi Primary School and presented 200 gifts to the students.
Coordinate the organization of propaganda on drug prevention and control laws; propaganda on prevention and control of smuggling, crimes of trading, storing and transporting smuggled and counterfeit goods; organize people to sign a commitment not to participate in transporting, trading and storing smuggled goods; present 100 gifts to people in difficult circumstances.
In addition, in response to the activities of the 2025 Military-Civilian Tet, the Provincial Police Youth Union has advised on the organization of the handover of 2 "August 19 House" projects to Khmer people with housing difficulties. The total cost of the program is more than 150 million VND.
The programs and activities were held enthusiastically, strongly attracting the participation of union members and young people, contributing to enhancing the spirit of volunteerism of union members, building a beautiful image of the union members of Kien Giang Provincial Police in the hearts of the people. Thereby contributing to effectively implementing the peak of the attack, suppression of crime, ensuring security and order for the Lunar New Year 2025.
