On September 27, Huong Thuy Town Police (Thua Thien Hue) announced that they had just arrested Doan Thanh Long (born in 1994, residing in village 8A, Thuy Phu commune, Huong Thuy town) for robbery.
Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on September 15, 2024, Duong Huyen Hai B (born in 2014, residing in Thuy Tan commune, Huong Thuy town) while taking his sister to watch a lion dance was approached by a young man wearing a gray jacket, driving a black Honde Airblade motorbike, wearing a black helmet, snatching the Samsung Galaxy A32 phone (purchased in 2021 for 5.9 million VND) in his pocket and then speeding away on Provincial Road 10E, Thuy Tan commune towards Thuy Luong ward.
During the investigation, the Criminal Police Team, the Criminal Technique Team - Huong Thuy Town Police in coordination with Thuy Tan Commune Police discovered and successfully arrested Doan Thanh Long, the subject who committed the above robbery.
